Mo's Seafood Chowder
Menu
Here you will find the menu of Mo's Seafood Chowder in Seaside. At the moment, there are 21 meals and drinks on the menu.
Perched on the seaside with stunning sunset views, this long-standing seafood spot serves standout halibut fish-and-chips and a creamy chowder amid a casual, cafeteria-like setting. Service and cleanliness are inconsistent—some servers shine while others are inattentive, and diners report sticky tables and worn menus. Outdoor patio welcomes dogs; wheelchair ramp and ample shared parking make it accessible. Prices trend high for pub-style fare, and menu shortages and occasional overcooked dishes leave experiences mixed. Many still return for the view and reliable seafood hits.

Was Deanna Smith at Mo's Seafood Chowder a mag?
What a wonderful experience my family and I had! Our first visit to Mo’s and it won’t be our last! Not only was the food delicious, our service was over the top!! Mandee was our server and she had exceptional customer service, she engaged with our kiddos and made the experience personable! She was knowledgeable and helped us order Halibut Salmon (blackened)?? the cabbage shrimp salad and we even had the famous Marion... View all feedback.
What Johnny Oak dislikes about Mo's Seafood Chowder:
Service was not the best. Had to go get the check myself. Food is okay, you can find better if you willing to search. My kids end up enjoying the pizza and wing from Funland. We order a family chowder no extra plate to share. I have dine there multiple time but this time it one of the worst experience. View all feedback.
Mo's offers an impressive selection of dishes, primarily centered around seafood. The seafood is tasty, and the service is prompt. Our server was exceptional; despite the long lines and lively atmosphere, they provided outstanding service. I recommend this place if you don’t mind a bit of noise!
Loved that it was right on the beach. We are not seafood lovers, but Mo's has a good selection for everyone and the food is very yummy. I did have to try the clean chowder despite not liking seafood and it was very good.I expected a long wait since we went at lunchtime and we did not have a wait at all. Service was very friendly and good was hot and good. Our drinks were never empty. Staff was on top of it all.Restrooms were also very clean which is a plus, especially when traveling with little ones.
Showed up early expecting a weight ended up sitting down right away. Great wait staff very busy Place wonderful food! We go there as a family every time we're in the seaside.
Two stars because there was alcohol options. ??????? Really shocked at high reviews. I?m a local, and I?m not upset this is the first time eating here in 5 years. When we sat at a sticky table, with dirty menus, and they didn?t have Tito?s, or MichelobUltra, should have just left then and there. Maybe if I ordered something fried?but the steamer clams, and stuffed avocado wereterrible. Not even blue cheese as a dressing option for the sub par salad. Steamer clams were shattered, and overcooked. Keptfinding pieces of shell in bites. The avocado salad had ZERO seasoning or effort, and literally just a scoop of bay shrimp withmaybe Mayo in a pitted avocado. Waitress was also inattentive and very unenthused. Towards the end of the meal we got water andnapkins?finally. They have buckets that you can pick up litter off the beach for free food?literally wouldn?t eat here again ifit was free.
Mo?s is the urban legend of local seafood. Said to be ?the best, ?must-have?, chowder and seafood by the people of Oregon. It?s not bad. But it?s definitely not the best. The food was no better than any pub food. Teetering on the fence of fine diningpricing, with a cafeteria atmosphere. Dirty seats (food wiped from table onto benches) filthy menus and bussers loudly dropping plates into plastic bins in the middle of the dining room. The chowder, oyster shooters and fish and chips were alright. But itwas hard to get over how filthy everything was.
