Mc Bani - Seaside
Mc Bani
Description
Nestled in Seaside, this family-run Lebanese spot serves standout Mediterranean dishes—house-made hummus, roasted cauliflower, dolmas, lamb shawarma and generous shareable platters—celebrated for bold, balanced flavors and plentiful vegetarian and vegan options. Warm, hands-on service from the owner and staff creates a homey, casual vibe, though occasional staffing shortages and bursts of noisy tension have been reported. Overall, it’s a coastal gem worth seeking out for authentic, lovingly prepared food.

The food has changed, and there's a lot of yelling coming from inside daily. When you walk in, you can feel the tension in the air, which is a stark contrast to just a few days ago when the atmosphere was joyful. I think the cook was also taking orders, and he was very polite and cheerful, making it fun to talk to him. You can really tell he loves what he does! Surprisingly, there was one day without any yelling! I wish they offered dine-in service. They seem to be short-staffed, which might be contributing to the yelling in a foreign language. I plan on eating here again, and I just hope they will have enough staff so I can take the time to compliment the chef on the delicious food. Thank you!
Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service! I placed a large takeout order to accommodate my family outside, as we wanted to keep the unvaccinated kids safe from indoor dining. Everything we ordered was amazing, particularly the lamb and roasted cauliflower. The side salads that come with the platters are huge! The owner even advised me not to order an extra salad, and I wish I had taken that advice—I ended up with way too much salad! I grew up in Seaside, and I will definitely be returning to McBani's the next time I'm in town visiting my parents. So yummy!
Wow, wow, wow! McBani never fails to impress me. I never anticipated discovering such a gem of a restaurant in Seaside, but here it is! Let your taste buds celebrate.
I had never experienced Lebanese cuisine before, and it was definitely worth it! The food was delicious! Our server was fantastic and extremely helpful with all our questions. I highly recommend this place. It was a bit more than what we usually spend on a meal, but I would definitely return for a special occasion.
