It is perfect and the decor and cafe as a whole was awesome. I’ve been there in the past, 2016. It was great. This time I was blown away. I had steak and eggs. The medium rare ribeye steak I ordered was perfectly charred and cooked exactly as requested. The sourdough toast and homemade jam were great together. There was even Hollandaise sauce in a small cup on my plate. The potatoes were so good that I ate them all. I usually don’t do that anywhere else but these were great. My husband got the corned beef hash and it was good size chunks. I had a bite and it was so good. I wish it were closer to my home. If you’re in the area stop and give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Sa... read more Absolutely loved this place~decor, service, food, value--can't wait to go back! Started with a cup of Tuscan bean soup--to die for! It was so flavorful good. Sand dabs were excellent with delicious rice vegetables cooked to perfection. My companion had a delicious club sandwich salad. Everything served cheerfully quickly. We were both extremely pleased want to return soon!

The walls are filled with photographs of buildings, like NORMS, Capital Records and other buildings designed in the Googie style. Hence the name of the restaurant. Food is generous. Service is personable. The homemade corned beef hash and Googie potatoes are tasty. Pancakes are satisfying. The serve on an outdoor patio, as well as inside, even on drizzly days. We enjoyed it.

The apple smoked bacon was flavorful and the right amount of cheese! You do get what you pay for- you will go away happy and full!!
