Absolutely amazing menu- and everything is delicious! I cannot say enough about the quality and flavor of the food here. I take every out-of-town guest here, and they are never disappointed. The shakes are the best in town, red beans rice, jambalaya, just right. I won't tell you about my favorite item, because it is so popular already that they sometimes run out. How can we get more restaurants like this in Seaside? View all feedback.
What Huda Tarabishi doesn't like about Ferdi's Creole:
whatever you do, DO NOT order the Chicken Curry. I literally had to throw away because of the amount of salt that went into this dish. I don't have that issue, but if you have high blood pressure, this will kill you and I am neither kidding nor exaggerating View all feedback.
I first met Tom and Gail in the early 1980's, as they would come and watch a band I played in then (The Late Show). I began going to Ferdi's then and loved the menu, the vibe and the milkshakes. I am sad to learn that Tom is working alone now after losing Gail. I left the Monterey Pensinula in 1990, but always return there to eat whenever I am in town. I will be back this September (2020) and am already trying to decide if I will order red Beans Rice, or their spicy BBQ Beef Sub. Both go great with a milkshake. See you soon Tom!! The Cajun food there is the BEST!!
Creole and service at this spot is great. I give this place double thumbs up. Looking forward to a return trip. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.
