It was quite a walk, because of using the... read more Upon arriving, I was curious about why they had the elevator in the rear of the building, and the stairs in the front. It was quite a walk, because of using the luggage cart. The next thing is the bed pillows.. Hard as a rock. Seemed like they went to a home depot and got sacks of rocks. There was minor flaws, like painting needed and replacement electrical outlet covers. Other than that, it's not awful.

The bed was comfo... read more So many nice things to say about this hotel. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast room was very clean and neat. This is a great choice to stay at if you are cruising out of Galveston as it is well priced and only a 30-40 min drive to the port.I highly recommend this hotel we were very pleased with our stay.

Pool was pretty dirty, waffles (only at the weekend and sausage and biscuits to microwave and the usual cereals. Good local restaurants within walking distance.

Rooms were quiet and bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was nice and cold
