What Jaden B doesn't like about Curry Leaf:
This restaurant is located all the way across the city from me so I am super glad I got to try them at Taste of Calgary because I love curry and would not have been able to try them any other way. Their server ????? is really friendly and and the famous indian saying Atithi Devo Bhava means Guest is like God, definitely suits her the way of hospitality...
Amazing food and amazing service, very friendly and the waitress explains which ever dish you ask her. I think the price is reasonable and it's clean. Their popular dish is fish but I didn't find it that appealing but if you are a fish person then go for it but I suggest try the paneer dosa and any curry with gravy. Must order the LACHA Paratha, makes every bite feel special. Went there twice and planning on going there again. Cheers
Wonderful service and delicious food. Nice cozy atmosphere. I will definitely go back.
This restaurant is located all the way across the city from me so I am super glad I got to try them at Taste of Calgary because I love curry and would not have been able to try them any other way. This year they served: Chicken Biryani with Raitha Fish 65 Gob (Cauliflower) 65 Falooda Chai The only thing that is disappointing is that this was the only business at taste of Calgary that did not accommodate any food allergies. They had no dishes that were listed as: gluten free, nut free, vegetarian or dairy free which I think is important.
I 've never been to the brick and mortar resto- it 's way up in Castleridge and I live just south of downtown and have no car. But they were at Taste of Calgary and had the single best thing I had at that event (and I liked almost everything I had in two long lunches there): The Gobi 65. Gobi is the Hindi word for cauliflower and theirs was deep fried and covered in a fantastic array of spices and topped with a yogurt and coriander preparation. I could marry this dish. Absolutely stunningly delicious.
