Five years and I finally tried. Pizza is not usual, a bit on the fat side, but is very tasty. Also I suppose the fat is used from the pan to “fry” the bottom. Veggies could be cooked more, but can't burn before pizza. Overall very delicious pizza and recommend to try. They only offer 10” personal pizzas, but they are very full. View all feedback.
I eat pizza from Pappas for a good piece of my life and during my last trip to Scranton I brought a lunch and a few extras home. The food still tastes fantastic, just like the first time I had it, and the service was fast and cheerful. When I finished some games from Flipper, my order was ready, everything was well packed. Upon arrival to my families for lunch, the meal was both really hot. The take-and-bake pizza I brought back to Philadelphia traveled well finished cooking without a problem (400° for 5-10 minutes). Even without the pan, it still maintains its characteristic taste.
It never disappoints me, I lived in PR and now in California, I come on vacation every 2 years and my first stop must be this pizzeria.
Great food! Their grinders are the best!! Personally I love their tuna one!!
The photos online looked good and the actual pizza certainly met my expectations. I'm normally a sweet sauce person and this not being sweet sauce, I was sceptical. Crust was done right, great ratio to cheese and good amount of toppings. The sauce had some nice layers to it with a great acidic/sweet balance. Highly recommend this place.
I never leave reviews, but I had to for this place. The pizza I split with my partner was one of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had, if not THE most delicious pizza! The staff was nice, and the trolley going around the perimeter is very charming.
