Don't order through the website! I placed a pick-up order and arrived at the time indicated in the email I received. However, I was told that someone had come to collect my food for delivery, and I never received it. The food is fantastic, but the GaribaldiScrantonPA website (which processes credit card payments) seems to be problematic. They did rectify the issue by remaking my order, so I appreciate that. The food is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and caring.
I visited for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a charming old-school diner feel, reminiscent of classic diners, but set in Mexico. The atmosphere is very homey. As for parking, there’s a lot in the back, but it isn't owned by the restaurant, so I had to find a spot around the block.
It's not my type of cuisine. We tried something new. It was edible, not magnificent, but not bad either! The employees are friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. It's like a little mom/pop restaurant. Tidy and clean small if you blink, you'll miss it. They give nice size portions for the price, so it's a very affordable night out.
