I mean, its a bowling alley bar that was the basis for a shows staple bar. I didn't expect much. But holy hell if those wings weren't to die for. For price and flavor the wings were honestly some of the best I've ever had. Flavor, crispiness and sauciness all five stars. Service was just as great as you'd expect from a rural PA bowling alley bar, and that's not meant in a snarky way. View all feedback.
If you’re a fan of The Office, you have to visit! If you’re just in town looking for food, you have to visit! Some of the best pub/bar food I’ve had. We will definitely be back.
Huge Office fan so we had to stop at Poor Richard's. The wings here are probably one of the best I have ever had. They were hot and crispy. I had mild while my husband had medium. We also had cheeseburgers, his with bacon. The burgers came with side of potato chips and some really yummy pickles for your burger. I also had fries with melted cheese and gravy which was also really good. The prices were really reasonable. If we are ever in Scranton again we will definitely stop here for some wings. I only wish they had some more Office memorable or merchandise for sale
My boyfriend and I went in late on a Sunday night not expecting much but excited as Office fans, and we were taken care of with excellence by the bartender DJ! He shared many stories and facts with us about the Office and the actors visiting. He was once of the best bartenders we had, he was quick and had a way of making us feel like we were the only ones in there. This is a must go for Office fans or even people just visiting!
Despite the service being a bit slow, the staff were incredibly friendly. As for the food, it was excellent! The wings were bursting with flavor and had the perfect level of crispiness, while the homemade salt and vinegar chips were exceptional. There are also plenty of delicious sauce options available for both the wings and chips. I would highly recommend this place!
This hidden gem is tucked inside a bowling alley, and it’s definitely worth a visit! As big fans of *The Office*, we had a fantastic time admiring signed photos and listening to Office stories from the bartenders. Upon arrival, we learned that we needed to place our order at the bar, which was no problem at all. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, helpful, and entertaining! We tried the rodeo burgers and corn fritters, and we also got a souvenir cup—all for just $23. That's an amazing price for a meal out, especially with a keepsake included. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Poor Richard's Pub! If you’re in the area, don’t miss the chance to stop by!
