Reviews - Bartari
Reviews summary
Bartari offers a unique blend of arcade games and a casual dining experience, making it an attractive spot for group outings and date nights. While patrons rave about the delicious food and engaging atmosphere—highlighted by an impressive beer selection and classic pinball machines—service inconsistencies tarnish the experience. Reviews reveal complaints of long wait times, order mix-ups, and distant staff. Despite these drawbacks, many enjoyed the tasty offerings and the nostalgic vibe of the arcade. For those seeking entertainment alongside their meal, Bartari remains a noteworthy destination, albeit with some caveats regarding service efficiency.

This restaurant offers an extensive variety of beers, featuring what is likely the largest selection of sour beers I've come across in the state. The staff is fantastic, and the food is excellent as well. Plus, there are some entertaining arcade games to enjoy! View all feedback.
What Nikolay Deviatov dislikes about Bartari:
A decent pinball arcade themed bar and grill that I would reccomend if you want a casual setting to catch up with a friend over a bowl of ramen and play some retro style games afterwards View all feedback.

Went to a Bachelor party there. Food was out of this world. A little noisy that was because of all the video games which were really cool. Real good time.
I felt like a kid again. The atmosphere was beautiful, like a vintage arcade. The food was great and the staff were nice. I would definitely recommend this place to people who are nostalgic and want to have fun!
The food was delicious, and there were plenty of fun games to choose from! The music was quite loud, making it a bit difficult to have conversations with others, but that’s to be expected.
Great selection of pinball machines in good repair, most doing 3 credits for $2. No one had keys for stuck balls though.

My friends and I went there not that long ago. The games they have are fun if you're into them. The food is delicious as well. The drinks are alright, tastes different everytime and the service is really slow. We went on a Sunday brunch and there wasn't a lot of people there. We ended up cleaning off our own table and all since there wasn't really anyone around. If we do see them, they are friendly.
Terrible experience. Went here for my friend’s birthday, and there were MAYBE 4 people working in the entire building. Waited an hour to place an order, had to give the waitress our order 2 more times, she brought maybe 1/4 of what we ordered before we decided to give up and ask for our check to leave (after 3 hours). We were handed a $350 dollar check with nothing of what we ordered. Our waitress had no clue what was going on, what we ordered, nor what we were actually served. No one was faultless either. Management clearly had no clue how many people they needed working in order to provide even mediocre service. My friends are a patient and understanding group. We would never make a fuss over bad service or an over-worked staff. But when we struggle to place an order, don’t get most of what we order, are charged for hundreds of dollars of things we didn’t order, and then are told we can’t even talk to a manager to sort out our tab so we can pay for what we actually ordered, I don’t think it’s so unreasonable to become frustrated. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend Bartari to anyone, and would honestly probably discourage someone from coming here.
We savored a local beer along with the crab fries, both of which were sizable and truly scrumptious. Initially, the staff seemed a bit aloof—not exactly what I would describe as discreet—but they were prompt in providing assistance whenever needed. The interior decor is quite straightforward, but with a good beer in hand and the Addams Family pinball machine to enjoy, it kept us entertained. This establishment turned out to be a delightful surprise during our trip to Scranton. We’re definitely looking forward to returning on our next visit to the Electric City!
My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant multiple times, and we've consistently had a wonderful experience. The food is excellent, and the ambiance is delightful. The service is satisfactory considering how busy this city restaurant tends to be. We recently relocated here from Florida, and we continue to enjoy the local atmosphere.
I stayed at the Hilton across the street and arrived quite late, but the bartender graciously checked with the kitchen and kept it open for me to order the fish tacos, which were amazing! While I waited for my tacos, I had a great time playing Centipede and the Addams Family pinball. This place is enormous, and I can only imagine how much fun it must be on weekends. I give it five stars!

We had such a great time! Great service, great food, great drinks. The kids had a ton of fun. Highly recommend for anyone.
I took my children and grandchildren to this restaurant, and we all had a wonderful experience, no matter our age. Our waiter was outstanding and showed great patience with our large group. The menu boasted a wide and interesting array of dishes, making it hard to pick just one. So, we decided to try a bit of everything, and everyone loved their choices. The highlight of our visit was definitely the arcade machines, which had nostalgic classics like Centipede, Asteroids, and Pac-Man, as well as many newer games. I was excited to find out that the machines still accept quarters!
Now, let’s discuss the games! They boast nearly every classic arcade title that made an impact in the '80s and '90s. Their pinball collection is truly outstanding, featuring a frequently updated selection of vintage machines. They even have unique games like Houdini, which remains the most challenging and impressive pinball game I've ever encountered. Although Houdini didn't last long, I appreciate their willingness to introduce something different. I could go on, but I should also highlight that their menu is excellent for bar food. My only minor complaint is that the fries can be a tad too salty. Overall, you're sure to have a fantastic time here!
This bar is absolutely fantastic, featuring a fantastic selection of vintage video games and incredible pinball machines. The food is also delicious! You can play games, enjoy tasty meals, and sip on beer, all in one place. They offer a wide variety of brews, and the service is outstanding. It's a lot of fun, all in one location!
