Soul Cafe - Scottsdale

This was our 4th visit to Soul Cafe. We've had Erik as our waiter on all those occasions. He was great. Very thoughtful and patient. The food is always fabulous and there is a lot of variety. We always split the coconut shrimp appetizer. Great restaurant and servise.

Our food was excellent. The service started off well but deteriorated. Our server neglected us towards the end of our meal.

The food and service was good but I was disappointed that no mention was made about my companions birthday. I had notified the restaurant ahead of the time and the waiter clearly saw the birthday gifts on our table. That was my only disappointment as we both really enjoyed our dinner. Blackened mahi-mahi is one of my favorites here, and always seasoned perfectly.

Soul Cafe is a neighborhood favorite. I frequent it for breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner. I love the September special of the 3-course dinner for $21! While it's only valid between 3-5pm, as long as you get your order in by 5pm you can sit and enjoy dinner past that time.

We go to Soul cafe often, by myself, with my wife, with out of town family and friends and even with my dog at the patio. Never disappoints with food or service. We have also been to their other restaurant Alma Olive Ola's. They have a new restaurant called Pescada which i have not tried yet but so far they are batting 100% Awesome food staff and service
