We absolutely LOVE this restaurant and eat there often when we're in Scottsdale. The food is delicious and the Chef creates just enough variation to be interesting but familiar. The staff is like family and Jonathan and Emma really went above and beyond with service like we've never had anywhere. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and we couldnt ask for a better experience. View all feedback.
What nikki doesn't like about Prado:
Very limited gluten-free options, they don't serve lunch either, just overpriced brunch options like a menu option of “avocado.” Completely lackluster menu. We walked out—servers were understanding and very nice. Such a waste of beautiful space. No wonder the whole place was empty when the taco place next-door was so full people couldn't find a table. This is our first visit to the Phoenix area and Prado Restaurant hit all the right notes. The food was delicious, plentiful and so well prepared. My husband and I shared the pulpo tapas and Valencia paella both of which are outstanding. From the valet service to the wait staff, the service was impeccable. Special mention to Cade who was very attentive, friendly and efficient. We highly recommend Prado and look forward to returning!
Came to Prado for Sunday Brunch (it happened to be Father's Day 2024). Was expecting stellar service, ambiance, and outstanding food, but all of that was quickly dashed. The Brunch Punch was terrible not even sure what was in it, but it was lacking flavor despite having been muddled with various berries in the glass. I looked around the room and everyone's brunch punch was untouched so it seemed many guests did not like it. Also, it seems they were made by different bartenders b/c each person's punch was a different shade of purple. The complimentary lemon bread was overbaked or stale very dark/burnt outside and inside was tough. The burger was your run of the mill burger you'd get at a chain, not something you'd expect to get at a 5 star resort. French fries were bland and were as if they were leftover and reheated from the previous night's dinner service. The Bocadillo pass on that altogether came out lukewarm and the presentation was lackluster. At least the chorizo gave it some life, but I'd rate the dish a 2/10. I expected a 5 star meal and 5 star service given that Prado's dinner service typically meets or exceeds that expectation was highly disappointed and will not be going back for brunch. Additionally, there was no ambiance, no white noise or background (soft) music there was nothing playing over the speakers so all you heard was other people at tables talking. It was a rather busy Sunday (perhaps due to Father's Day 2024) and perhaps they were understaffed, but management should plan better as it's a bad experience for Resort members and guests.
Our server, Cade, was thoughtful and attentive. Inside needs a face lift, but the outside ambience is incredible. Wish there were better, more on themed Spanish wine selections rather than generic grocery store California wine. Overall, the Valencia Paella was a standout and I'll definitely be back for that.
Very beautiful ambiance. My mother and I had just attended together and were dressed in our 50's outfits. We had a delicious meal of salmon. It was prepared perfectly. It was moist and came with risotto and asparagus. My mother is 82 years old and we had so much fun wandering the grounds after dinner and taking photos. Gorgeous evening to remember
