Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Scottsdale

This was probably the best meal I've had at Popeyes! The chicken, fries, and biscuit were all fresh out of the fryer, and they were incredible. I had to wait a bit, but they generously gave me a couple of extra pieces, which was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly, too. The only downside was that the tables were a bit dirty, but that was the only negative I could think of.

I ordered four pieces of spicy dark meat chicken, but instead received four mixed pieces of original that were greasy and lacking flavor. They made me feel nauseous, and I really wish I could get a refund.

I went into the lobby to eat and was ignored for 15 minutes. I finally ordered the original chicken sandwich and macaroni and cheese. When I went to get a drink, I found that out of the hundreds of options in the fancy machine, only three were available. When I sat down to eat, the bun was as hard as a rock, and the chicken was cold and dried out like leather. The macaroni and cheese was icy cold and barely had enough for a single bite. This place should seriously consider closing down. I even had to beg for a napkin, sauce, and utensils. I won't be returning!

Got the chicken sandwich combo, with Mac and cheese and tried the apple pie. As always, Popeye's didn't fail to delight my hunger or tastebuds! Absolutely delicious!

Drive Through was fast, but then again I only got a drink. Person that served me was friendly! Unfortunately the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is really regular Lemonade with some Strawberry purée added in? I?m sure that?s not the way I?ve gotten it at another Popeye?s ???? Oh well. Can?t comment on the food. But it?s probably like all Popeye?s. Building looks new from outside! Good location right off 101 and Indian Bend and surrounded by lots of shops and restaurants!
