This is a small dining area in a casino. The best place in the house is at the bar right in front of the chef. Many seafood varieties. Interesting seafood creole, gumbo, étouffe is located in the middle of Arizona dessert. Service is friendly and food is tasteful. Get it Level 5 sharp. View all feedback.
What Brad Haws doesn't like about Ocean Trail:
Good gumbo is hard to find and this place falls short of the mark for gumbo. I much prefer High Tide Seafood. As for the atmosphere, it is very small and two feet from the primary flow of walking traffic. Feels more like a food court than a restaurant. View all feedback.
Thank you to the chefs and chief waiter/manager for my birthday dinner so delicious and fun last night. I loved watching the big boss, and James) putting together the meals as watching the crab cocktail go into a wine glass and the pan roasts all come together. It was so interesting to see all spices for every meal. I had a delicious citrus broth in the Mussels I ordered, and my sisters shared a bowl of shrimp and scallops scampi. Mom ordered a salad and with the rolls and butter, made the meal good. I particularly appreciate the tender care of the manager with my mother by helping to push her chair closer to the bar and give her the extra cheese on her salad. The food was very good... but the service was top notch. I hope you know who you are in my review. I wish I could have read the names on your name plates so I could thank you personally.
Louisiana style Cajun food! Great experience! Fresh seafood! Sara, you are hard working, organized and just playing awesome!
Ka Ching! Jackpot at Ocean Trail. Enjoyed dozen oysters, paired with Gumbo dirty rice. Split plate still provided generous portions. Service by Travis friendly, on point, attentive. Tip of the hat to Chec and Sous Chef there was hard work going on to make sure our meals were delicious. By the way, we ordered spice level 5 flavorful but not a lasting heat. You can ask for the “magic” shaker to spice up individual portions.
Our party of 3 showed up around 530pm on a Friday. Wait time for a table was only a couple of minutes. Server was courteous and friendly. Food was on point. I would definitely recommend. Great location inside the casino.
Just go there! The food is great and plentiful. Dinner options are large. We either share an appetizer and entree or go in the day time for lunch size portions. If you love gumbo, red beans and rice, or seafood Creole, this place is for you. Warning: this place is always busy, don't go expecting a quick bite before the show or in a rush. This food is to be enjoyed, as all great Cajun food should be. Bon appetit!
