Detroit Coney Grill - Scottsdale

This is the perfect spot to spend $30 on a few drinks, a chili dog, and chili cheese fries. I absolutely loved it. Don't be deceived by the chairs being flipped upside down on the tables - they are still open for business. I almost passed by, thinking they were closed, but decided to give it a try anyway.

David has a true passion for excellence in service and pride in the amazing food they serve up. Do not pass this place by!!

Amazing that a lunch for 2 consisting of sloppy Joe sliders, a hot dog, onion rings, and a beverage would cost $30. If the food was really good, the excessive cost might be forgiven. But the hot dog was inedible, with the consistency of rubber, the sliders were nothing special, and the onion rings were ordinary and expensive. Even the drink was a small cup in every other restaurant although billed as a medium. Not a chance I would go back there.,Parking: Plenty of parking. At lunch hour on a Sunday the place is practically empty.

We are lucky here in the Phoenix area to have this wonderful establishment. 100% real authentic Detroit style Coney. David the owner is always working hard to make sure everybody is happy and comfortable. Thank you for bringing the taste of Detroit here to Phoenix and also for supplying your restaurant with Faygo pop, Better Made chips and all the other Detroit goodies!! Service was very good, food was average and somewhat small amount for the money. Great atmosphere with a couple older gentlemen bellied-up to a neat little bar on the side. Will not be back though, for the money I could get a better food experience.
