absolutely amazing wee hotel. I was close to my work last week. the staff are all very friendly, eating is good pub food and all fresh, breakfast is top, local every evening in the bar are also all good nice people. I usually stay in hiltons and other big business sites, they don't care about their use as much as a weed place as this, they stay next week again and I will use red lion as my basic camp every month! We enjoyed our meal at the Red Lion (recommended by our B&B hosts), enjoying butternut squash and coconut soup and fish and chips (it was Friday). It was a pleasant place to eat (except for the 1980s pop music perhaps). View all feedback.
Feathered up with hotels that claim to be dog friendly, but then say the dog can nowhere go except they are bedroom. the red lion is really dog friendly and cared for the dog and I. definitely recommend the red lion to all my Doggy friends. the best tasting eggs I've ever eaten. Thank you.
The best 5 star service tonight totally stuck for something tee the weather was so bad with the snow, coop was closed, chippy was closed and a stop had nothing worth to make tee and we have beautiful fresh made chips and chicken goujons for our tee to take home, they were fantastic! Many thanks for a million youngs brilliant service!
The service from beginning to end was amazing, my room was beautiful and very well furnished everything they could ask. beautiful Scottish breakfast and excellent steak pipe for tee and pet friendly. excellent price-performance ratio would be rerun despite.
Popped in for a meal without booking on a Saturday night and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Food was great but the star attraction was the roaring log fire in the bar
Good food, good company, good service, great value, what more can you wish for.
