What a great find. It’s part of the golf club just outside Eyemouth, with amazing elevated views. I could see right across to Coldingham Beach and St Abbs where we were staying. I had crab to start and it was so fresh and delicious, and great portion for a starter. Next I had the lobster salad. It was huge! What Susan J doesn't like about The Heathers:
Visit this restaurant every year. Had a disappointing meal on this occasion. Chips had changed from previous visits and not great just tasted like oven chips, but main issue which was the Grilled Halibut very expensive for something that had no taste whatsoever. The haddock which is also a safe option was also tasteless. The Scampi was spot on and crab starter was also good. View all feedback.
36 Golfed for 2 days at Eyemouth the staff could not have been more helpful. Everyone ordering from the menu lunch/dinner the food was tremendous and well received thanks to all for professional friendly service.
We were late arriving after travelling far. The restaurant was extremely gracious and served us a most delicious meal, in spite of them being ready to close. I have no reservations about recommending this seafood restaurant. Astounding views, delicious food, friendly and professional service. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.
Fantastic food , best fish and chips ever according to husband . I had chicken broth and a ham salad , so tasty . Great menu choice and beautiful views
If you want to enjoy the best local fish, cooked properly at a fair price then you’ve found the right place, can’t beat a late lunch and watch the Sun go down, but we love it anytime.
We spent last weekend in Eyemouth on a family history trail. We booked here as the views looked amazing they also did GF fish supper. The best part of this place (apart from the huge delicious portions) ate the hosts. They couldn’t have done enough for us, genuine lovely people, great food in a beautiful location. Great service, great food, great prices. Well done The Heathers. Top class
