Beds c... read more Stayed the night and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room The rooms had been refurbished during lockdown and to a very high standard. Beds comfy, plenty room, bathroom spot on with walk in shower and bath as well as being roomy. Secondary glazed window so no noise to disturb. Plenty tea and coffee.Down stairs in bar area was typical wetherspoons, keeping it looking original as possible but never to busy. Staff were very good and friendly. Garden at the back had plenty seating and plenty seating at the front of the building.All in all a lovely stay

The drink prices were... read more I stopped by for a drink with my husband. The pub had a lovely warm atmosphere, which was perfect since it was freezing and rainy outside. The drink prices were fantastic and offered great value for money. However, the building could really use some thorough cleaning. While we were waiting for the server to prepare our drinks, my husband and I both noticed how dirty the bar area was. The tables and seats were in similarly poor condition.

The portion of chips with the burger was larger than at other Wetherspoons locations. I tried the new Quorn katsu curry.
