Very basic food ok ,staff nice a bit noisy but very reasonable for drinks ,worth a visit if in area .
Stayed the night and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room The rooms had been refurbished during lockdown and to a very high standard. Beds comfy, plenty room, bathroom spot on with walk in shower and bath as well as being roomy. Secondary glazed window so no noise to disturb. Plenty tea and coffee.Down stairs in bar area was typical wetherspoons, keeping it looking original as possible but never to busy. Staff were very good and friendly. Garden at the back had plenty seating and plenty seating at the front of the building. All in all a lovely stay
A friend comes together, but eating was disappointing. there were no options from the menu and one of the meals was served cold, which had to be returned.
As a family for lunch, the pub was warm and welcoming. usual spoon menu and offers, personal were friendly. the food was as expected. the tables are a little cramped and no way to change a child
What a nice room and experience ... really enjoyed our stay, staff efficient and friendly. all very clean and intelligent. the hotel cannot praise enough.
Nestled in the heart of the town, this bustling Wetherspoons location combines affordability with a lively atmosphere, attracting a diverse crowd. Guests have praised the modern, well-appointed accommodations featuring comfortable beds and immaculate bathrooms, enhanced by soundproofing that ensures a restful stay. However, service inconsistency has been noted, particularly during peak hours, leading to delays in food and drink orders. Despite these hiccups, the menu offers a familiar range of options, complemented by a friendly, helpful staff. With ample indoor and outdoor seating, it remains a popular choice for both quick bites and relaxing meals. Overall, it's a charming spot for travelers and locals alike.

Good place to work, easy going spoons. Very standard decor, menu and service. Not too busy, not too rowdy, just a decent clean spoons. Giant clean toilets as always.
Delicious food and drinks at affordable prices. There are plenty of options on the menu.
I stopped by for a drink with my husband. The pub had a lovely warm atmosphere, which was perfect since it was freezing and rainy outside. The drink prices were fantastic and offered great value for money. However, the building could really use some thorough cleaning. While we were waiting for the server to prepare our drinks, my husband and I both noticed how dirty the bar area was. The tables and seats were in similarly poor condition.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I was sitting outside with my well-behaved dog when I was asked to leave due to their policy. Even other patrons commented that my dog was well-behaved and not causing any trouble.
Great value hotel with all the usual wetherspoons attractions

The food and drinks arrived quickly. The staff were very friendly. I have no complaints! The portion of chips with the burger was larger than at other Wetherspoons locations. I tried the new Quorn katsu curry.
