I went to this restaurant today for a quick lunch. It was my first time here, but I couldn't find any faults with the service. The woman who served me was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in talking to me. The lunch she served was delicious. She is definitely an asset to the restaurant.
I had heard great things about Tea 4 2's takeout buffet service being a good deal, so I decided to order one for my mother-in-law's birthday tea. However, I was extremely disappointed. For £40, we received enough food for 6 people, including only 15 small sandwiches, one wrap to make 12 mini rolls with the same filling, 6 store-bought sausage rolls, 12 small scones with barely enough clotted cream and jam, and a selection of small cakes. I definitely would not recommend this service.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is always cheerful. It's always busy, but for good reason. The prices are great and the space is clean.
Needed a cuppa and we were recommended here by Dalgety's. It was excellent and the staff excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere and was filled with local people enjoying each others company, just as it should be
This is the hidden ' secret ' of Galashiels , when people arrive at the Transport Exchange , its just a few steps away on the right side from the Front Entrance yet unknown unless you look for it what it does , is give great food , to order and fresh to takeaway and nice coffee or tea there is a table where you can eat at inside )its a small place but there is a large selection of eats and drinksthe soup they make is always very nice and tasty you can save a bit of money if you get your coffee her for the train instead of inside the Exchange at ' Born in the Borders '
