that was the best meal I had eaten in the limits. it started nicely with the common fish plate that was amazing and it seemed as if the trout was a wild, not bred. the steak perfectly cooked with cafe de paris butter, which makes it to perfection and chips to die. the finale was a dessert in the sky. I had the choice of desserts and everyone was a taste feeling. would recommend this restaurant and I hope to go back h... View all feedback.
What ed Hollyman doesn't like about Firebrick Bakery:
We were the first customer five minutes after they opened and when we ordered we were told that they only had one portion of duphenous but they then came back and said that was wrong and they had two. My scallop starter was only two scallops! When the lamb arrived the potato was grossly under cooked. Chef should be ashamed. View all feedback.
I always make sure to stop here when traveling to Edinburgh or visiting friends in Lauder. The pastries and cakes are absolutely delicious - they are of great quality and not greasy like some other places. You should definitely give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful small bakery in this sweet Scottish border village away. large selection of bread and cake. the blueberries were particularly delicious!
I found this place when they travel through lukewarm. great coffee, cake and croissants. a visit
Excellent service with a beautiful selection of different bakery products. coffee was also very good. a really brilliant experience. well recommended.
Delicious chocolate/jam or biscoff filled donuts and amazing caramel yum yums, definitely worth a visit to satisfy a sweet tooth
