The café offers generous portions of delicious food, with highlights including haggis and baked goods from Coldingham Kitchens. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a quick cup of coffee or a chat with locals. Despite its small size, the cafe is popular with both locals and visitors, offering a charming experience with friendly staff. Don't miss out on the cheese and onion scones!.
Dropped into Coldingham on a very rainy day with the cunning plan of finding a coffee shop to warm us through just a little. Parked in front of the Luckenbooth and spied the diffuse shapes of people drinking coffee through the steam haze of the windows tempted us to investigate. Well worth doing. Coldingham is a very friendly village with a stunning cove framing an often boiling sea. There is a good deal of history here too. A little display in the Luckenbooth illustrates this rather well. We got chatting with some of the locals over our coffee and found out so much more about the village and its history. As you will glean from the reviews here the Luckenbooth is, at once, post office, museum, snack bar and gift shop. More than this, it is a real asset to the village. A point of contact within and beyond the local community.
The cheese and onion scones at this cafe in Coldingham were absolutely delicious. I can't wait to have more when I return. The cafe is charming and the staff are friendly.

We stopped in for coffee on our way to Eyemouth. This cafe also serves as a Post Office and features artefacts and tourist information. Despite having only about 3 tables, it is quite popular with both locals and visitors. The coffee, which comes in many varieties, is from a vending machine and costs £1.50 per cup, while the tea is freshly made by the staff. We all enjoyed our bacon rolls and sliced sausage rolls. The menu is displayed on a blackboard, although it was not very visible during our visit, the friendly staff helped us find it. The restroom is located in the public toilet next door, which was very clean and odor-free when we visited. Although a bit off the beaten path, this cafe is definitely worth a visit if you are in the Eyemouth and St Abb's Head area.
This is a charming and welcoming spot where you can take care of your typical post office needs, while also enjoying a delicious meal and a refreshing beverage in the company of friendly locals.
