This family runned restaurant serv... read more We have been eating our diner at this place twice when we were in Sciacca. At both cases we were not disappointed in any way. This family runned restaurant serves honest food that’s tasteful and well prepared. No fuzz but friendly service. Since we visited the place during the hottest period of the summer (temp. at noon passed the 40C easily) the service was all outside on the terrace of the restaurant and on the street. With a breeze from the see, having dinner here is a perfect start for a relaxing evening and some drinks at the (beer or wine) bars on the quay nearby.

The menu is reasonable, with a good selection of primarily seafood based dishes; nice view over the harbour; the dinner we ordered was good portions well prepar... read more The menu is reasonable, with a good selection of primarily seafood based dishes; nice view over the harbour; the dinner we ordered was good portions well prepared; but the two young men waiters were not welcoming, and gave us just perfunctory service ... we ordered 1/2 litre of the local white wine sparkling water ... this was just dropped on our table, no offer to pour into our glasses, and he couldn’t even be bothered to remove the cap from our sparkling water this lack of friendly service is totally different than what we’ve encountered in our 7 weeks of travelling in Italy ... a reasonable restaurant spoiled by uninterested gruff waiters ... disappointing to be treated like this ... a smile, a friendly greeting some basic service would greatly improve this restaurant ... waiters more interested in looking at their smartphones than attending to their customers ...
