Let's gloss ovee the terrible roads in Sicily wjoch6make getting anywhere off the beatwn track quite arduous, but that's another story. Once you arrive at rhe tree lined entrance you know you're in for a treat. We chose the degustation menu with wine pairings, the food:arancini, lobster pasta, sea bass was so lovely and well presented. The best food I've had on this trip. But the dessert was even better! Absolutely amazing.. The wine paring wirh each course was considered, interesting and generous. The house Magarìa chardonnay was awesome. I had a glass of their Nero Rosso which was so good I bought a bottle hime with us. The service was impeccable as was the surroundings. We were so taken with the wines and ambience, to our shame we intended but nwvwr left a tip! : The whole degustation menu with wine parings was only €50 per head. Incredible value!

However, I would strongly rec... read more Whether you're visiting their restaurant in Sciacca town or dining at the winery your experiences are guaranteed to be a good one. However, I would strongly recommend visiting the winery for dinner. The venue is stunning, the staff are super knowledgable and helpful, the wine is just *ugh* something else and the food is delicate, well-considered, all the beautiful classic flavours of Sicily that come straight from the sea and their crops are celebrated with such humility. then they pair their food with their own wines which just work in harmony with everything. You can tell that these guys have been doing this for centuries and most importantly with love.
