The place is a very down to earth restaurant/bar in a small street in the heart of Schwetzingen, right next to the famous castle. It offers seatings inside as as well as outside in the Biergarten.The food portions are big, the menu offers a variety of different food, the prices are reasonable and the quality of food is good.It also offers a great selection of beers from a local brewery!

Pleasant restaurant and a good alternative to the restaurant in the palace. Mostly typical german food of good quality and reasonably priced

Nice atmosphere to sit outside but service was poor and food wasn't frozen average... The beer was okay! No recommodation...

We spent the day visiting sights in the area with our German cousins, and this is the place they chose for dinner. We ate casually - just some beer and sandwiches. A typical place - nice outdoor eating area. If ever in the area again and offered the opportunity to eat here, I would definitely go.

These people ruined my birthday celebration. Having booked a table for 12 in the recently renovated side room for my birthday celebration and confirming it a week ahead of the day (16th Nov) and discussing the layout and table decor, we turned up to find we had been moved to main hall with a shoddy set up along one wall in a corner. It seems that was changed during the week and they did not feel it necessary to inform us despite them having my phone number. This was exactly what I had wanted to avoid, but nothing could be done, the management offered a glass of champagne for each guest as they arrived as compensation, but the damage was done. Admittedly the food and service was excellent, but it was absolute bedlam and conversation was impossible due to the noise level which did not help my tinnitus at all. Later in the evening the standard of clientele lowered to the local thugs getting drunk on the cheap beer and at the end of the evening I was reduced to tears having to apologize to everybody for the disaster. NEVER AGAIN!!!
