In Bergell, high up in Soglio, this hotel is in a quiet location with a magnificent view. The rooms are spacious and no frills (no TV you don't need that). The hotel's own restaurant serves excellent food, but the portions could be a bit more generous. The service is very friendly.

We stop here as often as we can because aside the magnificent view the food is truly excellent. The various dishes made with chestnuts are not to be missed. Coming up to the village you can see the chestnut trees. The chestnut gnocchi are a real delight. The local cheese with a bit of honey are not to be missed. There are so many interesting ingredients that it is worth asking advice from the wonderful staff and chef.
