That was... read more We have wanted to eat at Bernstein since it opened, but it was always full when we tried. Reputation said it was a very trendy place with great fries. That was not a ringing endorsement to us. We finally found a seat for lunch. I tried a pasta dish and my wife a regional specialty. The waitress was unable to answer basic questions about the entrees and then forgot the soup. While we waited, we took in the atmosphere. We saw the typical stark solid colors and rectangular lines of this type bistro. Seating is crowded and not especially comfortable. Then the food came and erased the negatives. Prices were not low, but reasonable, given the reputation, uninspired decor and poor service.

Amber) is a Café/Restaurant in the heart of Schweinfurt, between the Town Hall and the Art Museum (Georg Schäfer Museum).The food is very good, though it seems to me a tad expensive for the size of the portion you receive. The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere friendly.Sometimes their music is a bit off, but that's really not a reason not to go ;)Customers are a wide range, couples, families, business parties... a group of friends and I go there almost every weekend for our catchig up for several hours :)Totoally Recommended!
