We always opt for the smaller, more down to earth appearing hospitality next to the big main restaurant and we were rewarded. Being a Monday and quite late for lunch we didn’t even expect to be fed still, but Stefanie looked after us in a way it made the whole day. She clearly likes dogs which put our mind at ease. And the food! We had been travelling through Germany and Austria for 2 weeks already and this was the best meal we‘ve had so far. We needed to have dessert as well just to try something on the menu we hadn’t heard before, Topfenstrudel, wow! I will miss this when I’m back in the ever rainy UK.

The views from the restaurant on the patio are just incredible. Wow. There are also sling chairs to...relax in while looking at the alps. Just beautiful.

Wenwere a small gruop ascending, 5 of us, amd hardly anyone up there either. Nice panoramic cafe...and restaurant and yes, stunning snowy views. You cannot see the castles from the summit ONLY on the way up. I enjoy going up mountains. Also , next to the carpark is the TOBOGGAN RUN . About 3€ a person and good fun to do this activity. My son and i loved it.
