What Carmel M doesn't like about City Market:
We stopped by on the way between Houston and San Antonio for a quick lunch. Chopped beef sandwich had a stale bun, meat had no seasoning or sauce. Potato salad was interesting, but not great. BBQ beans were ranch style straight from the can. Plasticware was loose in a can with no cover or wrapping. Prepared food is not at all recommended, but the meat market looked promising. Tasty moist beef brisket. We stopped in for lunch and had Bar B Q consisting of moist beef brisket and homemade sausage. We had sides of potato salad and cole slaw. Our food was delicious and satisfying.

We got the brisket with potato salad, coleslaw and pinto beans. Brisket was outstanding, moist and tender. Potato salad great, bean and coleslaw were good. They also clean your guns if you want!
Great bbq!!! Cannot wait to come back and try more! Staff are really friendly
