Recently moved to the Katy area and decided to try out this lovely place called *Köche Kuss*. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food was incredible. The bacon-wrapped chicken bites with that glaze...WOW!!! The sweet potatoes on my husband's plate didn't last long because I personally defended them. I've never had such amazing sweet potatoes and now I need to figure out how to replicate that delicious taste. E... View all feedback.

The location and the building were beautiful. The service was very indifferent not excessively friendly, but also not rude. It seemed like the kind of place where the service should reflect the small town charm and should be really warm and welcoming, but it was?t. From everything we ordered, the Brussels sprouts were the best. They were fantastic. The Margarita pizzas were pretty good, the grilled cheese was tasty (as with the number of cheeses I expected it was a thicker and more gooey quantity of cheese like some other gourmet grill cheese sandwiches we had), and the chicken roasted steak sandwich was also ok. We wouldn't hurry, but maybe stop at some point to try something else.
You're going to be hard pressed to find an eatery within 100 miles as good as this. The service was fantastic, atmosphere is rustic and unique and the food is fantastic (and reasonable priced). My shrimp lime salad was so delicious I can't wait to be back in town to have it again. Well done!!!!!
Had lunch today, which was our second visit. First time was back in 2018 when we were out on a day trip looking at the local painted churches. Both visits were outstanding, and the high review ratings are well-earned. Yes, the Brussel sprouts appetizer is totally worth it, even if you don't think you like such a thing. I had the gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with an outstanding chutney and Dijon mustard to go with it. My wife had the fish tacos, which were awesome and extremely filling. The Mexican street fries that came with them had an awesome spice mix on them. Last quality test: The ice tea. In our experience, you can often tell whether a place is going to be good just based on its tea. This cafe has outstanding, strong ice tea. Bonus! Cool venue, excellent food, and great service across the board. Highly recommended.
Stopped here on the way to San Antonio for work. Very charming restaurant with a good selection of food. I opted for the pizza and it was pretty tasty. The interior is so cute and you can even shop in the garden outside. I gave this place 4 stars because the staff was not friendly. No one ever came to my table to see if the food was okay or if I ever needed a refill (and my cup was empty). It wasn?t until I asked for a check they asked if I wanted a refill. But I would give them another try! Might have just been an off day for the crew?
What a treat! We were enjoying a relaxing hill country drive in the La Grange area, and while visiting Schulenburg, Tx ?The Burg?, we stopped in for dinner at The Garden Co. and we were surprised and impressed to receive a fresh garden salad, lamb burgers, and more. The service is A+ and we highly recommend if you?re driving from Austin to Houston and want to check out a small Texas town for some true Texas hospitality!
