Sconni's Alehouse Eatery - SCHOFIELD
Sconni's Alehouse Eatery
Description
At this restaurant, diners experience a mixed bag of culinary delights and service hiccups. While some rave about the freshness and creativity of dishes like the beet hummus and elk burger, others find fault with overcooked items and unseasoned flavors. The atmosphere is family-friendly, complemented by efficient drink service. However, patrons express dissatisfaction with long wait times for seating and food, often exacerbated by a seemingly disorganized staff. Despite the shortcomings, the potential for a fantastic meal is evident, making it a spot worth considering—especially for those who appreciate local sourcing and a welcoming vibe.

I highly recommend the elk burger at this restaurant! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. Overall, it's exactly what people are looking for in a dining experience.
The food was excellent, the staff was very relaxed, and the ambiance was truly amazing!
After being told it would be a 20-minute wait, it actually took 40 minutes to be seated, despite many empty tables. I understand if they’re short-staffed, but why have five hostesses standing around, staring at the seating chart for ten minutes per group trying to figure out where to seat people? They’d be better off assigning some of those hostesses as servers or cooks, cutting the small talk, and focusing on customer service. Once we quickly ordered drinks and our food, we had to wait another hour and a half before our meals finally arrived. If you decide to try this place, definitely order appetizers to help get through the excessive wait. The cheese curds were okay, but they melted into one big lump, making it difficult to share. Don’t expect the burger to taste, look, feel, or even smell like a proper burger. After one bite, it fell apart completely into crumbs on my plate and was overwhelmingly salty. The truffle fries were decent, but the accompanying sauce tasted like rancid mayo, and the fries themselves were so hard they couldn’t be broken by hand. Drinks were decent and served quickly, but overall, the experience was not worth $70 for two people. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I've dined at Sconni's Alehouse Eatery before and enjoyed it, but today's visit was exceptional. Definitely worth sharing a review. The Friday baked fish from their menu was full of fantastic flavor and not overly buttery like many others. Our servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, managing a busy night with ease. They truly nailed the experience.
