Reviews - Killertacos
Reviews summary
Tucked on the North Shore, this casual taco spot earns praise for generous, flavorful pork and fish tacos, friendly service, and strong gluten-free accommodation. Its laid-back, family-friendly vibe and lunch deals appeal to both locals and visitors. However, opinions vary: some diners love the authentic taste and portions, while others criticize inconsistent freshness, canned-style ingredients, and high prices. Overall, it’s a convenient, crowd-pleasing stop for taco lovers, though quality and value can feel uneven.

This place is so bomb!!! No joke, my favorite food I’ve had on the island . I had the short board burrito with beef and loved it. My girlfriend had a fish taco and a beef taco and loved them as well. Still sitting on the patio feeling too full too move View all feedback.
What H C dislikes about Killertacos:
This is a very simple taco place with nothing particularly noteworthy aside from the steep prices. The staff seems to be mostly young girls just out of high school, and it’s clear that they’re not very motivated to work. As soon as our food was ready, they all disappeared into the back to socialize. Unless you're really craving a taco, I wouldn't recommend it. View all feedback.

I had a great experience at Killer Tacos. The tacos were tasty, and the service was quick.

I've heard a lot of recommendations for this restaurant from friends, so I decided to give it a few chances. While the food isn’t bad, it doesn’t stand out either. I'm not sure what all the excitement is about. In my honest opinion, it's just average. I've tasted several taco food trucks in the area that I like better. The restaurant is family-friendly, and the staff is generally kind, but I doubt I'll return.
The service was great and the employees were super friendly but the two burritos we got both tasted like they were both made entirely out of canned salty ingredients. The “refried beans” were 100% canned. The salsa we got tasted like store bought salsa, the chips did not taste fresh and the two “freshly made cookies” we bought were in no way fresh nor good. First meal I’ve had on island that I regretted and was disappointed with.Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options but they will most likely be made out of canned ingredients

We visited the restaurant mainly because my son has celiac disease, and I must say the staff were incredibly accommodating. They sanitized the food preparation area before making his meal and used fresh utensils. I highly recommend this place for anyone with celiac. Our entire family loved their tacos!
We stopped by for lunch, and I tried the fish tacos. The portions are quite generous, so two tacos were just the right amount for me. I was so hungry that I completely forgot to take a picture of my meal. You’re going to love this place!
The food was exceptional. The veggie burrito was an excellent choice for vegetarians. My family ordered the beef tacos, and they said it was some of the best ground beef they’ve ever tasted. Even my little one, who is usually a picky eater, enjoyed it. While the drinks are a bit pricey, the relatively inexpensive food compared to other places in the area more than makes up for it.
I live in Texas. We know tacos. These were some of the best. The pork tacos were sooo good! If you are on the North Shore you have to check this place out. They have a great lunch special. Hands down the most reasonably priced places we ate at while on the island and at the top of the list of yum!
