I have my thoughts: Hotel: The building itself has charm and esprit. Since we were over Sylvester, the view over the place was important to us. The fireworks in the city were very good to see through the altitude. (See video) However, the hotel looks at the age inside. The green carpet that draws through all the rooms is already a bit worn and old baked. In the rooms there are smaller flaws everywhere and also here witnesses the furniture more from other times. The hotel service was a 5/5. People were nice, the breakfast is good and the service for dogs is great! We got dog blankets and treats! I think if you refurbished the hotel, you can easily get a 5/5 out for the rooms. The bathroom was clean and there was even a bathtub. Restaurant: The restaurant is renovated and deserves a smooth 5/5. Rather decorated, with well-padded chairs, it expresses an unexpected elegance that is contrary to the hotel. The food is civic or Pakistani, which has particularly pleased us, as there are many vegetarian dishes. The toilets were tidy and clean. However, the service was not optimal and is in contrast to the house service. The young ladies seemed overwhelmed, you had to wait a long time until you could order something new and sat before empty glasses. The food lasted above average long, but the restaurant was also well visited. I had the impression that there is no evil will here, but the team has not yet been fully involved. Here too I recognize great potential. Conclusion: The stay was very good, the price was reasonable and there were smaller shortcomings that the mood does not necessarily have to do a break. However, we must note that at the Schmölln site everything is closed between Christmas and New Year. But you can take a nice time in the room and enjoy the view.
