After several vai... read more Yesterday we were looking for food for our empty stomachs in Schleusingen/Thüringen. The mushrooms had made us and our dog hungry and thirsty. After several vain attempts to get something to eat in a restaurant (Covid 19 is thanks) we landed in the Ratstube in Schleusingen. We were kindly received and even our fur nose was lovingly thought with water and delicious. The food was a dream (especially the Chili con Carne). I read a lot of complaints about rude operation and “clear” menu. There is something on the map for everyone and since everything is freshly prepared, it takes a little longer na and. We can only recommend this location. It is not a gourmet temple, for which the price performance is proportionally consistent. The host people are committed and need support. So that no more of the already thinly sown traditional restaurants die, they need your support. You don't always have to be king as a guest at eye level with the service/host is much more important to me. Meckern can everyone.

Unfortunately, due to staffing constraints, the restaurant is no longer open for lunch, so we were unable to sample the temptingly fragrant delicacies.
