This time, too, we weren't disappointed with the excellent, freshly prepared food and the friendliness of the owner. It's a shame he doesn't make the delicious cakes anymore, but he told us he can't do it all himself. Still, well done.

Th... read more The Ratsstube is a small, family-run business in the heart of Schleusingen. It's quite tranquil, and on Sundays, you won't find a seat without a reservation. The staff matches the atmosphere and setting. The food was excellent. On Sundays, you can't choose from the menu; instead, there's a separate menu with four typical Thuringian dishes...always with dumplings and red cabbage. The prices are absolutely reasonable.
