The cool ambiance and the curtains make it difficult to perceive it as a dining room. Service: Present, but unfortunately not consistently attentive. The fact that the tables at our long table were placed close to the wall, forcing all interaction from the servers to cross the table over the guests' shoulders, was distracting and came across as anything but professional. Food: I'd like to comment solely on the goose breast. It was very dry, the sauce could have been reduced by a good two-thirds more to add some flavor, the red cabbage was passable but average, and unfortunately, no cranberries were served with the goose. The latter is, of course, optional, but it would have enhanced the dish in this case. In summary, the restaurant attempts to impress with traditional German cuisine, also offering dishes like steak, and strives for a modern feel. Unfortunately, this balancing act isn't particularly successful in either direction. Sorry, but it could be so much better.

You can collect a Touringen stamp in the beer garden but it's worth stopping here for more than just one time !!!

There was no sign explaining why it... read more The inn was recommended to me, but unfortunately, I can't. Despite the stated opening hours (June 7, 2025), it wasn't open. There was no sign explaining why it wasn't open. The entrance isn't recognizable either. There are many doors, none of which are marked as entrances. I didn't feel welcome as a guest, even if it had been open.
