Arriving late on a Sunday afternoon, we found the bar fully occupied, but an accommodating proprietress lit up the weekday dining room although the kitchen was closed, disappeared for a few minutes, and then came back with a delicious selection of cold cuts, local cheese, a generous bowl of hot peppers stuffed with tuna, and fresh bread as well as water and and a half liter of red wine. Although she was busy with the bar crowd, she paused and joked a bit with us before returning to the front room. EUR 40 for 4. My kind of place. Bel Sit offers a fixed-price menu during the week for about EUR 10. Judging from the size of the dining room, I would say it draws a crowd.
