El Salto Mexican - Schererville

Review of Schererville against Munster. Munster is getting higher on food quality, atmosphere service. The appetizer ordered drinks before dinner and served as dinner. Called before arrival and was told that the lunch option was available all day. Online menu showed lunch options, but was made available at sitting dinner menu. Arrived 4:00 a.m. and when I said quizzed waitress, I could just order dinner. Will continue to apply Munster, although they have a mandatory tip.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was very fast, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The herbal Fajitas with corstortillas were exactly what I was looking for. I even left something behind the restaurant and the manager went out his way to help me restore it.

I was so surprised how much we liked them. We have tried many Mexican places in the area, both smaller more authentic and larger chains. We were very disappointed, but this place was great. The service was amazing, worth mentioning because they were about and about, our waitress was the best. The food was so tasteful and although the dishes come with only 2 tacos, they were large and filled. The margaritas were also delicious, I will definitely get the El Salto Margarita in the future, it was better than the regular but both were good. There is a big menu with things you wouldn't find in other Mexican places. It may not be as authentic or traditional as some people look, but I was very happy with everything and can wait to be back!

Absolutely terrible experience! Long time customer and never experienced the treatment from here. Met a relative for a late lunch and the place was empty. Order the Alambre, a Queensadilla Children's meal and Taco dinner. Our order was grounded, but as it tasted good, it didn't complain. My cousin never got his drink he ordered with his meal, only water. We were crashed while the restaurant was empty. I used my bank card to pay for the meal, and my cousin wanted to make money for a tip. When they asked to break a big bill, they decided to keep what they wanted, and today, when I checked my bank account, they also added their own amount for a tip. I didn't authorize anything except the amount for the food because we left cash. Be careful! I will never return to this facility!
