Food is excellent but problem being we come here all the time and when I called 3 days ahead to book valentine reservations they said they were full that wasn't... read more Food is excellent but problem being we come here all the time and when I called 3 days ahead to book valentine reservations they said they were full that wasn't the problem...I was dismissed immediately and not even offered to be on a cancel list that to me is bad customer se to some one who drives 3 hours to come here...the likely hood we will visit this restaurant again are slim to none.....it pays to be nice to people who frequent your business as one business owner to another

Place is cozy and resembles an “old time” Italian place with the neon red lights and dim lighting. Could imagine some cutie mafioso chats taking place in a back corner. For starters, bread is awesome.. crust is crunchy and inside is doughy, perfect for some salty butter! Apps- Caesar salad and Johnny’s wings. Awesome flavors and done well. We did have to wait sometime for them to come out but our server explained a larger order went in right before ours, no worries. Dinner came out timely following apps. Pasta carbonara and eggplant napoletana. Eggplant was crispy and thin, pesto was lite and garlicky. Great dish. Carbonara was flavorful and hot, would like to see some thick pancetta vs what was served but just a baby detail. Too stuff for dessert but the options on the cart all look out of this world. Staff was kind and helpful, they were attentive and we did not have to wait or look around for someone when we were in need of something during the meal. I will definitely be back to try more dishes !
