Exceptional customer service from the guy with glasses Franklin who made my egg everything bagel with turkey and carmelzied onions . I should've asked for his name but this place is by far best bagel establishment in the area! Highly recommend! I came all the way from long island to get this ! View all feedback.
What Netta T doesn't like about Long Island Bagel Cafe:
Love the food here and the staff are very nice. However, a big however…. I dread coming here because everything takes so LONG!! The amount of time you wait, you can just go somewhere, sit down and eat and be done by the time they’re done with simple sandwiches. I don’t know if it’s the equipment they use, or slow moving not sure. But be prepared to wait. View all feedback.

Best bagels! I wish there was a location closer to me. I drive far just for these bagels!
We popped in a little after 4PM on a Saturday, and were so grateful that all options were still available--salads, grill, sandwiches, bagels (of course). A lot of bagel shops don't offer much near closing time. We were helped by Tim, and he and Franklin were really friendly and helpful! Tim took our order and made our sandwiches (which were fabulous) and got our bagel order. Because it was near closing (5PM), there were just a few folks in there finishing their meals, and no line! I have heard that before 1pm, the place is packed, so just plan your day to come after that, and get bagels for the next morning. Tim was so sweet, he gave us some bonus bagels as it was the end of the day, and a few freezer bags as well. Wow! It was such a great experience and amazing food. We were able to share bagels with our neighbors and freeze some. We will definitely be back and will share with friends! Thank you LIBC and Tim!
I had an amazing lunch and had the opportunity to meet the owner. He has really created a special restaurant with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit again
I started going here the past few weeks because we frequently visit the area. I always order just a bagel with cream cheese and an Iced coffee.Today I was in the area on my way to work and decided to buy food from LIBC. Prior to arriving I checked out the menu online and their Instagram to see what looked like a great lunch option as this would also be my dinner.I decided on what they call “bubbalicious” which is Fried Chicken Cutlets, Melted Mozzarella, Crispy Bacon Spicy BBQ Sauce. I ordered it on a roll to go.I don’t know how the person making the sandwich thought it would be okay to serve this but I was so shocked when I bit into the sandwich. As someone who’s worked in Hospitality, Customer Service and the food industry I was shocked. I didn’t pay attention at first when I opened the sandwich or else I would have noticed the color of the chicken along with how it looked as it was not going to be edible. I take a bite into the sandwich and noticed I couldn’t even chew it. It was so hard/stiff. That’s when I looked at the sandwich and saw the chicken wasn’t edible. It was over cooked to the max but also the color of the chicken indicated it probably wasn’t even good to begin with.Since I was in their parking lot I decided I would go in and either exchange it or get my money back since the sandwich was $12.95. When I walk in with the sandwich tray in hand the Guy that made the sandwich/ cashier actively avoided eye contact and didn’t acknowledge me. Although he had a customer as I walked in after speaking with the customer he didn’t even ask if there was something wrong being that he was the one I dealt with 5 min prior. There was a woman helping a customer and she looked to want to avoid me as well, she finally gets back to the counter and was going to take a customer when she looks at me because I was looking at her which she then says “are you being helped?”I explained politely the sandwhich is not edible without going into detail and asked for a refund or to exchange it for another sandwhich. At this point i was going to be late because I spent 20+ minutes in there the first time and now another 10 waiting to be helped so i told her just exchange it for Turkey, Lettuce and Mayo on a roll.I really enjoyed going here and had told many people about it but after this experience I don’t ever want to eat here again. I can’t understand how anyone who works with food and in food service would think that chicken was acceptable to serve. The lack of empathy and customer service is what really did it for me.
