Len Libby Candies Home Of The Life Size Chocolate Moose!

I visited the store on 6/7/23 to make a Father 's Day purchase. I asked for one pound of MOLASSES CHEWS. When I got it home and opened the box I found that what was in the box was not the molasses chews I had ordered. They were molasses chips. Unbeknownst to me and apparently the employee that was serving me, molasses chews are a seasonal item in the winter. I returned to the store this morning and explained that I was given the wrong candy and I wanted to be compensated with a different choice of candy. I was told they could not do that. I asked to speak with the manager. I was told she was unavailable to speak with me. I was given her name and contact number. I called and spoke with her and explained exactly what happened. She said she would have to ask the owners if I could be compensated with a different candy. She spoke with them and I was told no, they would not compensate me . I paid $28 dollars for one pound of candy that was not the candy I had asked for. Bottom line here is Len Libby clearly does not care about customer satisfaction. They had zero interest in doing the right thing and for that I write this review.TWO THUMBS DOWN!

Always a holiday...anyday special treat! We go for the Bangor taffy and stay for the cashew turtles and maybe a few other morsels that tempt our tastebuds, if I have to be truthful. : Our family misses the duck and bunny fluff at Easter!! Still one our favorite holiday stories!! If you're left wondering what Bangor taffy is ... I can't help you. You'll have to stop by and figure it out yourself! Just make sure you get two!! You'll see ...

Well, the moose is definitely there, the candy is good, a great variety to choose from. very friendly staff, can get crowded in such a tight space but everyone is generally nice...probably because they're about to stuff chocolate down their throats.

This was an exquisite candy shop that totally blew my mind. All the chocolate is house made and they have amazing toffees and candies. You won't find anywhere else
