What patricia f likes about Victoria Farm Garden Centre Cafe:
I recently discovered this cafe while traveling from Sleights to Whitby. I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and welcoming atmosphere, excellent staff, and high-quality food. I was also excited to learn that there is another branch of this cafe at Selby Garden Centre in Osgodby near Selby, which is only 6 miles away from where I live. I will definitely be visiting soon. The Sunday dinner was terrible. The frozen vegetables were soggy, the Yorkshire pudding was overcooked and tasted like egg, and the roasties were burnt. The chicken was frozen and overcooked, and overall, it was not worth the price we paid. We will not be returning as there are better places with fresh vegetables and high-quality meat. The gravy was thin and tasted disgusting. View all feedback.

read moreLocated inside a charming garden center, this restaurant offers a mix of positive and negative reviews. Some guests found the Sunday lunch disappointing with soggy food, while others enjoyed dishes like the beef and gammon. The cafe has a cozy vibe and pleasant staff. The gift shop has a decent variety, and the location has a beautiful view. Overall, the restaurant offers good value for the price, but some improvements like faster service and better quality food are needed. Despite some mixed feedback, it's a nice spot for a meal, coffee, or browsing through the interesting gifts on offer.
