Beautiful local pub, staff very warm and friendly. large portions amazing from cooked to house eating made with carefree.

Amazing meal last night, brilliant friendly service, barmaid excellent. the food was delicious that I had the torte, and it was almost like a desperate dan pie, my partner had the lamb stew very recommended.

First, the employees here are excellent, impressed us when they were so busy that they really didn't have to! friendly, attentive, really seem to enjoy their jobs. Eating was fantastic, seriously decent portion sizes at a great price! a real gem of a pubs.

First time coming here and the staff were very friendly bonus was the landlady was very sociable and chatted abit with us made us feel like we was regulars. We ordered food which arrived fairly quickly and was pleasantly surprised with the size of portions and the added extras. Food was well priced too. For any one looking for a nice pub with a friendly atmosphere go give it a try

Great meal at a lovely cosy pub in Lythe village. Venison stew and a rump steak. Beautifully cooked. Great quality and very reasonably priced. Make sure you arrive hungry as the portions are generous. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Will definitely return when we are back in these parts.
