This restaurant is a hidden gem! It is not your typical old, neglected provincial museum. It is well-maintained and has some impressive facilities. There is something for everyone here, with many interesting exhibits. I particularly enjoyed the jet collection, the Abbey exhibition, the art gallery, and the fossils. What vikkip doesn't like about Pannet Park Museum Tea Rooms:
We went to the cafe for lunch. We had visited before and knew they did delicious sandwiches and cakes and we were not disappointed. I had a goats cheese, beetroot and chilli jam roll and it was absolutely yummy and it came served with a few crisps and delicious coleslaw. The tiffin I had to follow was very moreish too. This restaurant review is about Whitby's Museum. The museum has fantastic exhibitions showcasing the beauty of Whitby. Visitors can also watch a movie highlighting the picturesque landscape of the area. The museum has a cafe and restroom facilities, which are kept clean. The staff are also very friendly and offer helpful assistance. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you are ever in Whitby.
We had a wonderful lunch today with our grandchildren, who are all under the age of 5. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in providing us with a highchair and finding a suitable table for our group of five. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious, and the menu offered a great variety of options. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had gluten-free options available for both sandwiches and cake. When we requested different sandwiches for my grandson, they were happy to accommodate by providing tuna in a picnic bag. The cafe was bustling with customers, showcasing its popularity. We definitely plan on returning when we are in Whitby.
I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic gluten-free cake at this restaurant. I originally planned to just have a cup of tea, but I highly recommend trying their gluten-free options for anyone who has celiac disease.
Charming tea room serving delicious homemade cakes and light lunch options. The chocolate Guinness cake is absolutely amazing!
