What User likes about Jane's Kitchen:
beautiful cake and a cuppa, very clean and friendly, prices not too daft, but while we were there a woman came and asked for a table for 5, the answer was of course, all about board nice and friendly, the customer then asked if she had vegan milk, on which the answer was a simple no, not even sad that we ran out. Unfortunately, the business was lost because of something so easy, 5 people might have been £50-£60 if th... View all feedback. What 519adamh doesn't like about Jane's Kitchen:
I fail to see how this place can remain open. Greasy and tastless food, rude staff and extortionate prices. Our breakfast was undercooked, sausages were pretty much raw. When we complained we were told they 're fine and the chef is experienced . No offer of refund or fresh food. I 'd avoid. Much nice places to eat in Whitby. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of Whitby, a local café has garnered a mixed reception from patrons. While some reviews praise its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious homemade offerings, others lament underwhelming meals and inattentive service. Highlights include decent breakfasts, particularly a well-received full English, alongside homemade quiches and pies. However, complaints about rudeness and inflexible menu options persist. Additionally, unmet dietary needs, like the lack of vegan milk, have cost the café potential business. Overall, the establishment appeals to some visitors for its heartfelt approach but struggles with consistency in quality and customer satisfaction.
