We enjoyed a pot of tea and a slice of carrot cake by the stream. There is a covered outdoor area with a few tables for those who prefer not to sit inside.
I recently visited a small tea room in Lealholme for tea and scones. We arrived just before closing time, but the staff were happy to accommodate us and were very friendly. Overall, a very nice experience.
Great food, lovely coffee, very friendly staff. Sitting outside overlooking little stream watching the world go by. This is what summer holidays are about.
After a pleasant walk to Lealholm got our favourite table over the beck and had a lovely sandwich lunch followed by scrumptious cake. Teapot refilled for a hot cuppa with the cake
