This is the restaurant in Bagdale Hall hotel. We had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. The dining room has lovely period décor and a giant fireplace with interesting history. Window tables look out onto a tasteful statue water feature. The breakfast is really nice, all freshly cooked to order. I'm not sure if they open for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner hotel could advise. We really enjoyed our breakfasts... View all feedback.
What KVLiverpool doesn't like about Bagdale Hall:
It’s not the first time we have stayed at Bagdale No 4 and almost certainly not the last.On this occasion we had a 4 poster bed in a large room with on-suit facilities. Free wifiBreakfast is taken in main hotel and offers the famous Whitby kippers as one of the alternatives to a full English breakfast.Off road car parking is a big bonus in Whitby. The hotel has very friendly and efficient staff where nothing seems to... Host are very welcoming, stayed about half a dozen times in 4 years. always well booked because they project on a way to the earthy and professional wise. mike and alison will do their best to make their stay the best.
We have stayed here on many occasions in the main building and in the annex but today we were lucky enough to meet the jewel in Bagdale's crown; Carole! She is an absolute treasure, friendly, chatty, helpful an absolute font of local knowledge. We spent the best afternoon ever, in our many visits, just revelling in Carole's company. So back to the general review; rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable the staff are all friendly but Carole's service is above beyond, we look forward to our next visit to the beautiful Whitby, staying in a hotel steeped with history being looked after by the wonderful staff, especially Carole.
Wonderful location. Staff were really friendly. Amazing room to finish off a short break on the North East. Will definitely be back.
