I stopped by for lunch on Friday, June 20th around 1pm. I ordered fish and chips as well as fishcakes and chips to experience the local cuisine during my mini-break in Scarborough. The restaurant was better than a typical greasy café, though it was evident that it was a family-owned business with the waitresses' kids and grandfather around. The staff working at the counter were friendly and helpful. We sat at the outdoor tables in the sun and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
Whenever we are in Scarborough, we always make sure to stop by Alzonis. It is hands down the best ice cream in town.
Visited earlier today with husband and two kids. Loved the retro feel to the place, ice cream was delicious as far as the bill was concerned you pay for what you get, was worth every penny !
Super old fashioned ice cream parlour with award winning ice cream dishes and hot and cold sabdwiches. Plenty of staff that give excellent service. Very clean with clean toilets on the first floor. No trip to Scarborough is complete without sampling the food and atmosphere of this gem on the sea front. Highly recommended.
On the sea front at Scarborough they serve the best ice cream ever, 2 flakes for the price of 1 !! Loads of different flavours
