What 1Naser I (2 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Sahan:
When I visited this place 3 years ago the food was ok. Today I was in the area with my family and I wanted them to try it. The quality of the food was not very good. The steak and chicken were paper thin. The lentil soup has no taste of lentil at all. The juice has lots of water and sugar added to it, I couldn't even tell what was the flavor. When I asked the waiter why the lentil soup has no lentils, she just turned... View all feedback.
Felt like taking it back to Africa, East Africa that is with this nice Somalian restaurant . Waitresses were very friendly and recommended the Goat meal (comes with plantain soup and juice). I also felt like trying the Somali Milk cake for dessert and thank God I did. The cake was delicious and not too sweet either. Large food portions, had to take a bit of my dinner to go which was good. I would love to come back here.
This was my first time trying Somalian food. I was bit skeptical first. We order beef steak. They provide free juice and a soup. When the food arrived i was amazed by the amount. Bit messy. Beef was cooked well done. Though i like medium rare. But the beef was so tender and soft i was impressed by it. The beef got a smoky flavour and goes perfectly with the rice. So tasty and yummy. HALAL obviously. It is highly recommended.

I ordered chicken stew and the beef t-bone. They also offer chicken, goat, t-bone steak, beef stew and the soup is normally lentil.
Sahaan Restaurant is one place you have to try out! It's dishes are made with bites that make you keep wanting more. This place serves the most tender goat meat ribs I have encountered.....one bit of advice is if you plan on going just make sure to call in advance to ask the chef to keep a few plates of goat meat or ribs for you. Why? Cause that's the hottest item dish that gets sold out super fast! You will thank me later for that advice. They also have a delicious mango shake! The restaurant itself is very great with staff and the chef themselves being very kind and generous!
Authentic Somali Restaurant. Love the Goat Ribs. *Meat was properly cooked with charcoal flavour *Complementary Mango Juice and Soup. *Huge Quantity *Fair price *Good sitting arrangement
