I was back in Saxonburg today for work and was so excited to stop here again! I got the apple hand pie which is bigger than my hand!!! I got a few other cookies too but the hand pie was the main event! Service with a smile just like my first time! I cannot wait to return! View all feedback.
What Roxann doesn't like about Mainstreet Bake Shop:
I was at an event where there was a cake and cookies. The cake was burnt, very dry, and mostly flavorless, but nicely decorated. The icing was good. The cookies were so dry they crumbled and also didn't have alot of flavor. The person that bought these items should get a refund. View all feedback.

I’m not even sure what words I could use to appropriately convey how AMAZING this place is. Megan made sugar cookies for my daughter’s 1st birthday party. I had seen photos, so I knew they’d be beautiful (and they were stunning. But, even better than that, they were easily the best cookies I’ve ever tasted. You know how sometimes you look at beautiful cookies and assume they’re hard and really not that great to eat? I totally expected that to be the case, and then I bit into one. It was so soft and delectable. Everyone at the party raves about them. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. I’m obsessed!
Every single thing we’ve tried from Main Street Bakeshop has blown us away. It seems that they don’t sell anything without mastering it first. Their frosting has the perfect consistency, the cake is perfectly moist enough, their brownies are a chocolate delicacy, and don’t even get me started on the cupcakes!! Not to mention absolutely everything that is made here is almost too beautiful to eat!! For our wedding we chose a 3 tier almond torte, various cupcakes (s’mores, pumpkin, carrot cake, and chocolate peanut butter), and brownies. Everything was so delicious that there was barely any left-overs as guests simply couldn’t get enough!!
Awesome bakery in saxonburg, Megan and the staff bake some great stuff, especially the cookies not to forget about the breakfast sandwiches, plus they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, it's a real treasure in the saxonburg area
