We ordered the double beef burger with fries and onion rings. The rings and fries were ok. The burger had some positives, for starters, it looked great. The brioche bun, melted cheese, pickles and bacon.. but the real letdown were the patties, of which there were two of them making the disappointment doubly bad these are the pièce de résistance but unfortunately they were overcooked, very dry and chalky. It's hard to score a table outside on the sidewalk, but the restaurant is dog-friendly. The open prawn sandwich was incredible, and the vegan poke bowl was also very good. The lychee, apple, and mint tea was refreshing. Overall, this restaurant is always delicious and popular.
Located on the main street of Sawtell, this lively cafe offers fast and efficient service. A highlight for me were the delicious corn fritters. We chose to sit outside, which was great for people-watching but not ideal when vehicles parked right next to our table and idled.
