I must commend the incredibly warm welcome and the genuine hospitality of the owner. This is a fantastic pub, especially for those who are weary of the limited offerings at local Green King establishments, as it operates as a free house. Very beautiful beer well and cheaply held, they do not expect much of the facility if their out to impress a millionaires do not go here, great for real beer

After I neglected to make a reservation at a hotel in the middle of nowhere, I drove a few miles and ended up at The White Lions. I had to find parking, but the staff and owners were friendly and helpful. The drink prices were reasonable as well. There was a pool table and a dartboard next to the bar lounge area, making for a fun atmosphere. The service was quick, and I even had a pleasant conversation with the owner about the local area. It was a warm and comfortable experience overall.
